KOGAS says LNG terminals not affected by firings
SEOUL |
SEOUL Nov 23 (Reuters) - South Korea's state-run Korea Gas Corp (KOGAS) (036460.KS) said its liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals near an island hit by North Korea's firing of shells on Tuesday were not affected by the incident.
North Korea fired dozens of artillery shells at Yeonpyeong island, just about 10 km (6 miles) from the maritime border.
A KOGAS official said none of its LNG terminals was affected by the incident.
South Korea is the world's second-largest importer of LNG.
