German stocks - Factors to watch on November 24

FRANKFURT Nov 24 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.5 higher on Wednesday, according to premarket data from brokers Lang & Schwarz at 0710 GMT.
The following are some of the factors that may move German stocks (share price indications at 0710 GMT):
SAP (SAPG.DE)
Indicated 3.0 percent lower
SAP AG must pay Oracle Corp (ORCL.O) $1.3 billion for software theft in a jury verdict that could be the largest-ever for copyright infringement. [ID:nN23163510]

Indicated 0.6 percent higher
S&P downgrades Allianz U.S. unit Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. to A+ from AA-, with stable outlook, saying FFIC faces a decline in its overall competitive position, weak underwriting results and deterioration in the quality of the company's capital base.
FFIC said it remained strongly rated and was making changes to have a positive impact on its bottom line. "I'm confident we are well prepared for profitable growth", FFIC CEO Mike LaRocco said in a statement.

Indicated 0.6 percent higher
Massachusetts utility regulators have approved National Grid Plc's (NG.L) agreement to buy power from the 420-megawatt Cape Wind project, which could be the United States' first offshore wind farm. Cape Wind wants to install 130 Siemens AG (SIEGn.DE) offshore wind turbines on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound and start generating power by the end of 2012. [ID:nN23165565]
