SEOUL Nov 24 (Reuters) - South Korea's treasury bond futures extended gains on Wednesday, helped by growing hopes for stabilisation in local financial markets after North Korea fired dozens of artillery shells at a South Korean island.

December-delivery treasury bond futures KTBc1 were trading up 0.28 point at 112.33 as of 0522 GMT, after rising to as high as 0.30 point. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Chris Lewis)
