BRUSSELS Nov 29 (Reuters) - European Union regulators cleared on Monday the transfer of a second tranche of assets to Ireland's asset management agency NAMA, saying it would help resolve problems in the Irish economy.

"The (European) Commission therefore concluded that the transfer of the second tranche of assets to NAMA represents an appropriate means of remedying a serious disturbance in the Irish economy," the EU executive said in a statement.
