Deep quake hits Japan islands, no tsunami warning

TOKYO Nov 30 (Reuters) - A deep earthquake measuring 6.9 in magnitude hit islands off the east coast of Japan on Tuesday, the Japan Meteorological agency said, causing buildings to shake in Tokyo.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
