Obama to review fiscal panel findings: White House

WASHINGTON | Wed Dec 1, 2010 2:48pm EST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said on Wednesday that President Barack Obama would review the recommendations of his fiscal commission once the panel votes on its findings at the end of this week.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told a news briefing that it was important to give the commission, appointed by Obama to figure out how to tackle the country's fiscal challenges, space to come up with its judgment. The 18-strong panel will vote on Friday.
