White House says it's time for Ivory Coast's Gbagbo to go

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Monday repeated its call for Ivory Coast President Laurent Gbagbo to stand down or face targeted sanctions after a November 28 election that the United Nations says he lost.

"It is time for him to go,' White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told a news briefing.
