Chile finmin says peso intervention response to QE2

SANTIAGO Jan 4 (Reuters) - Chilean Finance Minister Felipe Larrain on Tuesday welcomed the central bank announcement of intervention to weaken the country's peso from near 3-year highs, saying the second round of the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing had put strengthening pressure on the peso.
