Washington Banking Announces Fourth Quarter and Year-end 2010 Conference Call

OAK HARBOR, Wash., Jan. 11, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington Banking Company
(Nasdaq:WBCO), the holding company for Whidbey Island Bank, today announced that
it will report fourth quarter and year-end 2010 results after the stock market
closes on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Management will host a conference call on
Wednesday, February 2, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time (1:00 p.m. ET) to discuss the
results. This call will also be broadcast live via the internet.
