SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's Hyundai Motor Co (005380.KS) said on Thursday that it aims to sell 100,000 Grandeur luxury sedans globally this year.

Hyundai, the world's fifth-biggest carmaker along with affiliate Kia Motors Corp (000270.KS), also said it aimed to increase global sales of the redesigned Grandeur to 120,000 next year.

Hyundai launched the new model in South Korea on Thursday, and planned to roll out the car in the Middle East and Latin America in the first half of this year, and in North America in 2012, a spokesperson said.
