Brazil yields slip after interest rate decision

SAO PAULO Jan 20 (Reuters) - Yields on Brazilian interest rate futures contracts <0#DIJ:> slipped in early trading on Thursday, the day after the country's central bank raised its benchmark interest rate to 11.25 percent from 10.75 percent the previous night.

Some contracts had recently priced in a greater interest rate hike.

The yield on the contract due April 2011 DIJJ1, among the most active shortly after opening, dipped to 11.37 percent from 11.395 percent late on Wednesday.
