Great Plains Energy Announces Webcast and Conference Call for Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2010 Earnings

Great Plains Energy Incorporated (NYSE: GXP) announced today that it will release its 2010 fourth quarter / year-end earnings on Thursday, February 24, 2011, after the market close. On Friday, February 25, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. EST, executive officers of the Company will conduct a webcast and conference call to discuss the Company’s 2010 fourth quarter and full-year earnings and operating results. Supplemental financial information and the earnings webcast presentation will be available after the February 24 market close and after 8:30 a.m. EST on February 25, respectively, in the Upcoming Events section of the Great Plains Energy website at www.greatplainsenergy.com.
