Egypt Internet users report major network disruptions
CAIRO |
CAIRO Jan 28 (Reuters) - Web users in Egypt reported major disruptions to domestic networks on Friday, with many unable to access the Internet and mobile text messaging services in the capital Cairo.
A top official at the state telecoms regulator, contacted by Reuters early on Friday, declined to comment on the matter.
In Cairo, some residents said they had no access to the Internet altogether, while others said disruptions were limited to social networking websites such as Facebook. Others said they were unable to send mobile text messages.
Karim Haggag, a spokesman for the Egyptian embassy in Washington, said the Egyptian prime minister's office had issued a statement denying Facebook and Twitter have been shut down. (Reporting by Patrick Werr and Shaimaa Fayed; Writing by Maria Golovnina; editing by David Stamp)

It is obvious the government is lying as usual, and they it appears that they are going to use violence against the protesters tomorrow who are not supporting or representing anyone but themselves, they are not supporting the Brotherhood or El Baradei, they are just expressing their needs.
Please continue to spread and propagate because egyptians will get murdered tomorrow by the government if you don’t spread this. They already started taking political icons from their homes especially muslim brotherhood personnel
Please foreign media save egypt. Our lives are in your hands
