Opponents pledge to block planting of GMO alfalfa

KANSAS CITY Jan 27 (Reuters) - Opponents of genetically modified alfalfa pledged to take court action to try to block planting of the crop this spring after the U.S. Agriculture Department said it approved the crop on Thursday, the Center for Food Safety told Reuters.
