** U.S. owner of warehouses and distribution centers ProLogis (PLD.N) said late on Wednesday it is in merger talks with rival AMB Property Corp AMB.N. [ID:nSGE70Q024]
** Moelis & Co, the 3-year old investment bank founded by veteran dealmaker Ken Moelis, announced its Asia launch on Thursday with the purchase of a local boutique advisor, a move likely to heat up the already intense war for banking talent in the region. [ID:nL3E7CR0I7]
** A proxy battle for control of Genzyme GENZ.O is unlikely, given the progress being made in discussions with Sanofi-Aventis (SASY.PA), the U.S. biotech group's chief executive said on Thursday. [ID:nLDE70Q0XW]
