CAIRO Jan 30 (Reuters) - Egypt's banks will remain closed a second day on Monday because of the deterioration of security in Egypt, the central bank's deputy governor said.

Egyptians demanding the resignation of Egyptian President Hosni hit the streets for a sixth day on Sunday. The stock exchange also announced it will remain closed.

"Monday will be off because of the security situation," Deputy Governor Hisham Ramez said by telephone. (Reporting by Patrick Werr)
