WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States on Tuesday ordered all non-emergency embassy and other U.S. government personnel to leave Egypt amid mounting protests against the rule of President Hosni Mubarak.

The State Department said it would continue to facilitate the evacuation of U.S. citizens who need help to leave Egypt, but noted that "flights may be disrupted and transport to the airport may be disrupted due to the protests."
