SINGAPORE Feb 7 (Reuters) - Southeast Asia's largest bank DBS said on Monday it has hired two senior private bankers for its Indonesia team based in Singapore.

Stanley Puah, who joined DBS from HSBC in January, will lead the Indonesia team and manage up to 10 private bankers.

DBS also hired Tan See Wee, a former head investment strategist at insurer Great Eastern as the deputy team leader for its Indonesia team.

The latest appointments bring the total headcount of DBS' Indonesia team to about 40, an increase of nearly 25 percent over the past year, the bank said in a statement.

Last year DBS hired Tan Su Shan from Morgan Stanley to head its private bank.

Tan, who is head of wealth management, told Reuters in October the bank expects 20 to 30 percent annual growth in net new assets from China, Indonesia and India, as it gears up for expansion in Asia's fastest-growing markets for millionaires.
