Tanks, military trucks on street in Bahrain capital

MANAMA, Feb 17 (Reuters) More than a dozen army tanks and several military trucks and military ambulances were seen travelling along a main highway in central Manama on Thursday, shortly after Bahrain police cleared a protest square in the capital.

Nearby roads were almost entirely clear of civilian traffic, witnesses said. (Reporting by Cynthia Johnston; Editing by Matthew Jones)
