ATHENS Feb 18 (Reuters) - Greece's third-largest lender Alpha Bank (ACBr.AT) said on Friday it rejected National Bank's (NBGr.AT) "unsolicited" offer to merge.

"The board decided unanimously to reject the proposal due to the uncertainty of the current conditions and the offer itself, whose terms are deemed not beneficial for Alpha shareholders," the bank said in a statement. (Reporting by George Georgiopoulos)
