CHICAGO, IL, Feb 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Arbour Group, a leading provider of regulatory products and services for
life sciences firms, announced today the results of a customer survey
about technology spending plans for 2011. The overriding trend is that
customers are optimistic about IT spending as they see stability return
to their businesses. The consolidation from the prior two years appears
to be subsiding. Companies are looking to grow conservatively and take
advantage of process improvements and productivity tools in order to keep
new employee hiring at a minimum.

The demand for regulatory compliance products and services is anticipated
to grow modestly. However, within that modest overall growth will be
significant investment in productivity tools in the areas of software
development, project management, automated testing, security/access and
document management. Also the use of virtualization software will
continue to accelerate server consolidations and in turn reduce the
footprint required for data centers. Additionally, the rapid adoption of
the Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription model will lead to a
reduced investment in physical assets.

Arbour Group will continue to address these trends by offering solutions
that are targeted to specific customer needs. In addition to providing
software compliance packages, regulatory project management and
professional validation services, Arbour Group has developed solutions
for the high growth technologies coming into wide spread use that include:

-- Virtualization Qualification
-- SaaS Compliance
-- Data Center Assessment/Consolidation
-- Automated Test Tool Qualification & Testing Services
-- De-commissioning

"All of our customers are looking to derive long term savings from
their Information Technology investments, while simultaneously advancing
productivity," stated Alexander Patterson, President and CEO of Arbour
Group. "Arbour Group can deliver significant value by helping clients
maintain regulatory compliance while transitioning to new technology
solutions."

"New technology and capability offerings present regulatory challenges
that must be addressed prior to adoption of that technology," said Archie
O'Leary, Vice President of Sales for Arbour Group. "We have the
regulatory bandwidth to provide proactive guidance and planning that will
ensure the transition to new technologies is within a compliance
framework."
