BAGHDAD Feb 28 (Reuters) - Oil exports from Iraq's southern Basra terminal were restored to 1.872 million barrels per day (bpd) on Monday after slowing to 1.2 million bpd in the last two days due to bad weather, a shipping source said.

The shipper, who asked not to be named, said two tankers were loading 2 million barrels each and two other vessels were at anchorage waiting to be filled.

"We have clear weather and the flow rate from Basra port is back in high rates," the source said.

Exports from Basra, Iraq's main oil hub, tend to fluctuate widely because of weather or technical problems. (Reporting by Ahmed Rasheed; Editing by Rania El Gamal)
