Surely one of the many high profile representatives who were in Geneva with their Iranian counterparts could have made the simple request to speak to Messrs Karroubi and Moussavi in a video call, in the presence of the representatives from Iran. Why do we have to be subjected to this charade while everyone just plays along? It is way past time those elected to play an active role in international politics start applying some basic common sense and call the regime out on their play acting.
