MTV Europe Awards to be held in Belfast
LONDON, March 2 |
LONDON, March 2 (Reuters Life!) - The MTV Europe Music Awards will be held in Belfast in early November, the music channel said on Wednesday.
The ceremony will be held at the Odyssey Arena, and Viacom-owned MTV promised "unprecedented performances and appearances" without giving further details.
The annual event, Europe's biggest pop awards ceremony, tends to be dominated by North American acts -- at last year's ceremony, held in Madrid, U.S. artists enjoyed a clean sweep of the main prizes except for Justin Bieber, who is Canadian.
