EU to monitor changes to Hungary media law -Kroes

BUDAPEST, March 7 (Reuters) - Hungary guarantees that changes to its new media law will comply with all European Union rules, EU telecoms chief Neelie Kroes said on Monday.

"So far the European Commission and the government of Hungary did agree on the amendments that were badly needed on the proposal that was sent to parliament," Kroes told a news conference.
