Obama: Must avoid repeat of Balkans in Libya
WASHINGTON, March 11 |
WASHINGTON, March 11 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Friday the world has a duty to prevent a repeat in Libya of what happened in the Balkans during the 1990s.
He also said developments in Libya on the ground have to be watched closely and decisions about potential actions need to be made on a case-by-case basis.
