Obama offers Japan any help needed after quake
WASHINGTON |
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Friday he told Japan's Prime Minister Naota Kan that the United States stands ready to offer whatever help the country needs to cope with a massive earthquake.
Obama, at a news conference, also said his administration is closely monitoring the tsunami threat to the United States.
