San Francisco port suspends oil transfer

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Port of San Francisco said on Friday the port's Captain suspended all transfer of oil and hazardous materials as it expects a 3-foot surge at 8:08 a.m. local time, related to the tsunami that struck Japan earlier. (16:08 GMT).
