Brazil to postpone bullet train tender - source
SAO PAULO, March 30
SAO PAULO, March 30 (Reuters) - Brazil will postpone a $19 billion tender to build and operate a bullet train from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo and Campinas, an infrastructure project that the government had hoped to have at least partially ready for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games.
A high-ranking source in the government said a date will be defined in a future meeting with President Dilma Rousseff and key government ministers. (Reporting by Leonardo Goy; Writing by Reese Ewing; Editing by Jan Paschal)
