Turkey's Erdogan: not appropriate to arm Libyan rebels

LONDON (Reuters)- Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday he did not support the idea of arming Libyan rebels fighting to oust Muammar Gaddafi from power.

"Doing that would create a different situation in Libya and we do not find it appropriate to do that," Erdogan told reporters at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron in London.

Erdogan is sure helpful as always. Dont arm the rebels. Wait till Gaddafi massacres them and then offer to mediate for the west. what a shame.
