Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: DCOM) (the "Company"), the

announced that the Company expects to release its earnings for the
quarter ended March 31, 2011 prior to the opening of the U.S. equity
markets on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
