CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's former president Hosni Mubarak is well enough to keep answering questions from investigators over the killing of protesters and embezzling of public funds, Al Arabiya television quoted a hospital manager as saying.

State TV said earlier on Tuesday that Mubarak was admitted to the hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh, the Red Sea resort where he has been staying since leaving office, after being taken ill during questioning.

Al Arabiya also said that Justice Minister Mohamed el-Guindy was currently questioning Mubarak.
