SAN MATEO, CA, Apr 13 (MARKET WIRE) --
FinancialForce.com, the cloud applications company, today announced that
it has been named a finalist in the 26th annual CODiE(TM) Awards in the
Best Financial Management Solution category.
FinancialForce.com was chosen as a finalist from among 16 nominations in
the category. Nominated products underwent an extensive review by judges
via live demonstration, trial product access, and analysis of product
documentation. Finalists will now be reviewed by SIIA members, who will
vote on winners for each category. The winners will be announced on
Wednesday, May 25th at the CODiE Awards Luncheon, to be held as part of
the SIIA All About Cloud conference, where Jeremy Roche, the president
and CEO of FinancialForce.com, will be speaking about "Using Cloud
Platforms to Enable a Free-Market Approach to Apps."
"We are thrilled to be named a finalist for the 2011 CODIE Awards," said
Jeremy Roche, president and CEO, FinancialForce.com. "FinancialForce
Accounting is the ideal complement to Salesforce CRM, a previous winner
of the CODiE awards. Because FinancialForce Accounting and Salesforce CRM
applications are embedded together on the Force.com platform, executives
have complete visibility of the entire opportunity to cash process, in
one cloud based system. This approach streamlines billing processes,
optimizes cash and breaks down the walls between accounting and sales
departments."
FinancialForce.com focuses entirely on building business applications on
Force.com, the Cloud Computing platform from salesforce.com, including
accounting, billing, professional services automation (PSA) and services
resource planning (SRP). Its applications help fast-growing organizations
and dynamic enterprises align finance, sales and service in a way that
enables profitable growth.
"We are pleased to have such a diverse range of companies and products as
finalists this year," said Rhianna Collier, Vice President of the SIIA
Software Division. "The competition is always tough and it reflects the
level of innovation across a wide range of companies in the industry. The
growth in participation certainly mirrors what we are seeing as
priorities in the business software market."
About the CODiE Awards
The CODiE Awards, originally called the
Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software
Publishers Association (SPA), now SIIA, so that pioneers of the
then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other's
work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same
purpose -- to showcase the software and information industry's finest
products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.
