Vietnam's Vinamilk says Q1 net profit jumps 22 pct

HANOI, April 26 (Reuters) - Vinamilk Corp , Vietnam's leading dairy product maker, said on Tuesday its first-quarter net profit jumped 22 percent to 1 trillion dong ($47.85 million).

Revenues hit 4.63 trillion dong in the quarter ended March, an increase of 40 percent from the same period last year, the Ho Chi Minh City-based firm said in a statement. ($1=20,900 dong) (Reporting by Duy Vu; Editing by Ho Binh Minh)
