Bemis Company Elects Krempa Vice President and Controller
NEENAH, WISCONSIN, May 5, 2011 - Bemis Company, Inc. (NYSE: BMS) announced today that its Board of Directors has promoted Jerry S. Krempa to Vice President and Controller of Bemis Company, Inc., reporting to Scott Ullem, Bemis' Chief Financial Officer. Krempa succeeds Stanley A. Jaffy, who will assume the role of Vice President of Finance.
Krempa joined Bemis in 1998 as Corporate Director of Tax and was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2007. Prior to joining Bemis, he held tax positions at the public accounting firms of KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Krempa is a CPA and received both his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and his Masters of Science in Taxation degree from DePaul University.
