Key Focus on Uprisings in the Middle East

Amnesty International will release its 2011 Annual Report at 7:01 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 12, with a media briefing streamed live online and experts available in New York, Boston and Washington for interviews. The annual assessment of human rights protections and violations in all corners of the globe includes recommendations by the U.S. country section on how the United States government can promote freedom and dignity in the Middle East and North Africa.
