Europe should jointly promote an IMF candidate-Lagarde

PARIS May 19 (Reuters) - Europe should make a joint suggestion for a new head for the International Monetary Fund, after Dominique Strauss-Kahn's resignation on Thursday, French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde said.
