T-BOND TENDER

Romania's finance ministry plans to sell 600 million lei worth of five-year treasury bonds. BNR031 Results are expected at around 1200 GMT.

C.BANK

Central bank Governor Mugur Isarescu holds opening speech at financial seminar at 1330 GMT.

ZLOTY ERASES LOSSES AFTER CPI, GREEK WORRY WEIGHS

The zloty recouped losses on Wednesday after inflation data came in much higher than expected, helping it outperform emerging European currencies held back by fresh worries over Greece's debt crisis.

METRO TRAINS

Bucharest's underground rail operator Metrorex is expected to select by mid July a firm to supply 16 new metro trains.

Bombardier Transportation -- an unit of Bombardier Inc (BBDb.TO) -- and Spanish firm Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles CAF.BC have submitted bids.
