SINGAPORE, June 17 (Reuters) - Hendra Gunawan, the second-highest ranking executive at DBS Group's Indonesian operations, has resigned and will be replaced by corporate banking director Dani Prabawa in the interim, the Singapore bank said on Friday.

"DBS Indonesia President Director Hendra Gunawan has decided to pursue new career opportunities outside DBS. His last day at the bank is June 30," a DBS spokeswoman said in response to a query from Reuters.

"The search for Hendra's successor has commenced," she added.

Gunawan joined DBS in January 2003 and was head of its corporate and investment banking in Indonesia. He had previously worked at Deutsche Bank and Schroeder Investment Management. (Reporting by Kevin Lim; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
