LE BOURGET, France, June 22 (Reuters) - Republic Airways Holdings Inc (RJET.O) signed a letter of intent to buy 80 of planemaker Airbus' (EAD.PA) revamped A320neo family of aircraft worth $7 billion at list prices.

The commitment includes 40 A320neo and 40 A319neo planes, Republic said on Wednesday during the Paris Air Show.

The aircraft will be powered by CFM's LEAP-X engines and will be flown by its Frontier Airlines subsidiary, Republic added.

CFM International is a joint venture between General Electric (GE.N) and Safran (SAF.PA). Frontier flies to more than 80 destinations in the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica from its hubs at Denver International Airport, Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport and Kansas City International Airport.
