Last Republican, Senator Kyl to leave Biden talks

WASHINGTON | Thu Jun 23, 2011 1:50pm EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican Senator Jon Kyl is pulling out of budget talks led by Vice President Joe Biden, an aide said on Thursday, leaving no Republicans at the bargaining table.

Kyl's exit follows that of Republican Representative Eric Cantor, who said the group has been unable to resolve an impasse over tax increases sought by Democrats.
