Obama and Boehner spoke Wednesday: White House

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (Reuters) - President Barack Obama, who held a meeting Thursday with House Democratic leaders about the progress of debt talks, had met with House Republican Speaker John Boehner Wednesday evening, White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
"I'm not going to get into anything about the content of the conversation between the speaker and the president. It was about a lot of issues," he said.
