EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- is a website about Drew Manning's yearlong journey as he goes from fit, to fat on purpose, and back to fit again.  Drew is a personal trainer that will stop exercising and live an unrestricted diet for 6 months, and then put himself through his own exercise routines and meal plans to become healthy again.  He is currently 7 weeks into this journey and has already gained 29 lbs!

Drew is going from fit to "fat":

  1. To try and truly understand the physical, emotional, and mental struggles that result from being overweight
  2. To learn from his own experiences, and encourage others to share their stories of struggle

Drew will then go from "fat" to fit:

  1. To make Americans more aware of how unhealthy processed carbohydrates really are
  2. To inspire people to make healthy lifestyle changes that last
  3. To teach people how to get fit again by giving everyone access to his meal plans and workouts
  4. To prove that no matter how difficult it is, change is always possible and attainable

He plans on gaining 60 pounds in the first 6 months as he learns what it's like to be overweight. Every week during his fat stage, he completes one extreme food challenge (chosen by his followers).  He charts his weight, measurements, cravings/ food addictions, and emotional changes through blogging, photos, and video clips.

After 6 months, Drew will then teach others (and re-teach himself) the recipe for losing the weight and keeping it off.  He will showcase his specific meal and workout plans that everyone can follow.  He believes that many people lack the motivation, desire, inspiration, hope, and/or knowledge when it comes to getting fit.  He also believes that trainers like him lack the experience, struggle, sympathy, and/or understanding of how difficult getting fit really is.

He hopes that his journey will provide that to both groups – and help people make a permanent change in their health.
