MOSCOW, June 28 (Reuters) - Spot potash prices could reach $600 per tonne by the end of the year, the chief executive of Russian potash producer Uralkali (URKAq.L), Vladislav Baumgertner, said on Tuesday at an investment forum in Moscow.

He said that demand for potash is strong and major miners are operating at full capacity.

Uralkali, which recently completed a merger with rival Silvinit to become Russia's largest potash miner, has also said it was "considering entering into a transaction with Belaruskali." [ID:nLDE7591FC] (Reporting by Alfred Kueppers; editing by Jessica Bachman)
