JAKARTA, July 7 (Reuters) - Indonesia's retail sales grew 15 percent in June from a year ago, on higher spending on supermarkets and electronics, data from the Indonesian Retail Association showed on Thursday.

Retail sales in Southeast Asia's biggest economy also grew 15 percent in the first half of the year, executive Tutum Rahanta told Reuters.

He said the association is targeting retail growth of 15-20 percent this year in an economy being driven by domestic demand from an emerging middle class. (Reporting by Rieka Rahadiana; Editing by Neil Chatterjee)
