GRENOBLE, France (Reuters) - Australian Cadel Evans was set to win the Tour de France after snatching the overall lead when he finished second in Saturday's 20th stage, a 42.5-km time trial won by German Tony Martin.

Evans, who was trailing Andy Schleck by 57 seconds before the start, beat the Luxembourg rider by two minutes and 31 seconds.

He beat Schleck's brother Frank, whom he was trailing by four seconds, by two minutes and 34 seconds according to provisional results.
