Turkish army: 90-100 Kurd rebels killed in n. Iraq raids

ISTANBUL Aug 23 (Reuters) - Turkish military operations launched in northern Iraq last week have killed 90-100 Kurdish guerrillas, with 132 targets struck in six days of air raids, the General Staff said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the armed forces said it also had information that more than 80 Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants had been wounded in the operations, which it said would continue. (Writing by Daren Butler; Editing by David Stamp)
