Foxconn says fire at China Shandong plant extinguished

TAIPEI, Sept 27 (Reuters) - A fire on Tuesday at a plant belonging to Apple components maker Foxconn Group in Shandong, eastern China has been put out and there were no casualties or impact on operations, a spokesman for group listed entity Hon Hai said.

The spokesman said the morning fire was in electrical cables on a building roof. Any damage would be covered by insurance (Reporting by Clare Jim; Editing by Jonathan Standing)
