Sarkozy to hold crisis talks in Frankfurt- sources

FRANKFURT Oct 19 (Reuters) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy will travel to Frankfurt later on Wednesday to hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and outgoing European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet, two sources familiar with the matter said.

Earlier on Wednesday, French lawmakers told Reuters Sarkozy had told them he was ready to travel to Germany to seek a breakthrough in the talks ahead of an EU summit this Sunday.
