Gaddafi died from a gunshot wound: doctor
MISRATA |
MISRATA (Reuters) - Muammar Gaddafi died from a gunshot wound, a doctor involved in an overnight autopsy on the former Libyan leader's body told Reuters.
"He died because of a gunshot wound. It is obvious," the doctor said, giving no details about whether it was from an apparent gunshot wound on the left side of Gaddafi's head.
"There are still several issues. We have to pass (the report) to the prosecutor general. But everything will be revealed publicly. Nothing will be hidden."
The autopsy was carried out at a morgue in the city of Misrata, about 200 km (130 miles) east of Tripoli. Local officials said Gaddafi's body would now be brought back to the cold store at an old market in Misrata where it has been on public display.

It doesn’t take a statistical expert to know in such a chaotic situation; anyone could have put a bullet in the guy’s head.
Rebels against the former leader, intelligence from multiple nations of diverse interests, military within NATO, a blood thirsty mad Libyan whom has lost family and could have formerly had loyalty to either side.
Who knows?
In such a chaotic situation there will be a thousand stories from a thousand points of views and agendas. All different.
To admit that, blames no one – and allows for things in such an unstable area to start to heal.
Anything else would either have to lend towards personal bias, or one of the very few whom could have known what was going on.
To sort through it all and identify those limited elements are not east I wouldn’t think.
